The first DIY suggestion is simply by taking old clothes, and jazzing them up. By this we mean adding sequins, of course. Take any old jumper, pair of sweats, or miscellaneous item of clothing that you feel kind of bored of, then get busy sewing sequins onto it. Choose the pattern, choose the colors, and you've instantly brightened up your wardrobe and spent some time having fun whilst at it.

The beloved Bob Ross has videos on YouTube and all over the internet. In these he explains how to paint in a simple and straightforward way, which results in beautiful paintings of landscapes and other natural things. Spending time painting can be a great way to relieve stress and pass the time, plus it's not about how the final product looks, it's about enjoying the process.
3. Origami Fun
The Japanese art of origami involves folding paper to make beautiful shapes. There are plenty of tutorials online about how to make all kinds of shapes, animals, and patterns simply by folding paper in artistic and specific ways. These are definitely worth a go, or you could even get more creative and make origami photo frames. Print out all those photos hiding away on your phone and make beautiful DIY frames for them only using paper to brighten up your house.
4. Colorful Wall Hangings
Since we're at home so much it's important that we have a beautiful space to spend our time in. This DIY hack simply uses some colourful yarn to create beautiful wall hangings. All you need is yarn and scissors, you choose the different colors that reflect your personality and taste, and the result will be a beautiful splash of color and material to brighten up any room.
5. Plant Accessories
The obsession with plants has grown as much as the plants themselves have in the past year. The beautiful leaves are one thing, but making sure that the plant pots and stands are looking good is just as important. There are many ways to DIY make your own plant stand, including from a painted tomato cage, crates, and copper piping. These will be fun to make, and a nice plant stand like this will instantly bring your room some extra character and style.

We love some self-care, and what better way than by creating some luxurious bath bombs to soak in the bath with? These will definitely leave you feeling like a princess. Make these using a few ingredients that you can source naturally, which makes for a fun creating activity, and a soothing relaxation session afterward. What's not to love?
7. Stencil Creations
Our last DIY suggestion is to create your own stencil. Find a quote, words, or an image that you love, then using some scissors and cardboard create your own stencil. Afterward, you can use this stencil by painting over it either onto a canvas, or even onto the back of an old denim jacket. You can create a new and personal painting to hang on the wall or add some new excitement to old clothes.
